Dr. Chaudhry is an internal and integrative medicine physician who uses western and holistic approaches to deliver effective and compassionate health care. His clinic offers a team-based integrative medicine approach to healing. Dr. Shiven believes in the six pillars of health: nutrition, physical movement, mind-body medicine, western medicine, herbs/botanicals, and complementary medicine

  • Following participation in this course, participants should be able to:

    • Define the term Integrative medicine (IM)

    • Describe its use and economic impact in the US

    • Review common patient chief complaints seen in an IM practice

    • List common integrative interventions being used in the clinical setting

    • Review integrative modalities, their advantages, and their disadvantages

    • Review the 5 categories of Integrative medicine recognized by the NIH

    • Describe resources and training available to the busy clinician interested in learning more about IM
